Lavradores de Feitoria Douro: depois do branco é chegada a vez do rosé de 2016

Lavradores de Feitoria Douro: after the white, it's time for the 2016 rosé

With a pale lychee colour, in perfect harmony with the Spring-Summer “pantones”, the new vintage of ‘Lavradores de Feitoria rosé’ has arrived. From the 2016 harvest and with the label featuring the company’s new lettering, it is a very versatile rosé: with a structure to drink at the table; and elegance and freshness for moments of relaxation on a terrace, beach or pool.

Elegant and harmonious, the 'Lavradores de Feitoria rosé 2016' is made from Touriga Franca, one of the main grape varieties in the Douro region and the one responsible for giving it such aromatic density. A clean wine, in which freshness and the evident presence of fruit stand out, reminiscent of strawberry with nuances of pineapple and citrus on the nose, and reinforcing the strawberry contrasting with grapefruit on the palate.

With well-balanced acidity and a smooth entry, this is a light wine, ideal for cooling down on hot days. A fresh and dry rosé, characteristics that give it gastronomic aptitude. With a “shelf” price – recommended retail price – of just over four euros, it has an excellent quality-price ratio, making it a good choice for everyday consumption.
