Três Bagos Reserva tinto 2019: todo-o-terreno da Lavradores de Feitoria tem nova colheita (DOC Douro já com dupla distinção a nível internacional)

Três Bagos Reserva red 2019: Lavradores de Feitoria's all-terrain wine has a new harvest (DOC Douro already with double distinction at international level)

Newly launched on the market, the Três Bagos Reserva red 2019 has already received double recognition from international critics: it won a gold medal at the Mundus Vini Competition and was awarded 91 points by renowned American wine critic James Suckling. A wine that promises to surprise and whose recommended retail price is €9.99.
The Três Bagos Reserva red 2019 is the result of a double trio: it is a blend of three native grape varieties well known to lovers of Douro wines – Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional –, which originate from some of the 20 estates of the shareholders of Lavradores de Feitoria, located throughout the three sub-regions of the Douro: Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior. On average, these are vines that are over 30 years old. The aging of this Reserva was divided between stainless steel vats (50%) and French oak barrels, 25% new and 25% two-year-old, for 12 months.
In the glass, the Três Bagos Reserva red 2019 has a bright red colour. On the nose, it is quite aromatic, fine and elegant. It presents aromas of very ripe red fruits, such as red plum, some cherry and blackberry, with discreet and well-integrated wood, contributing to its complexity and aromatic enrichment. On the palate, it is very rich, with emphasis on very ripe red fruits. The presence of tannins is noticeable, smooth and balanced by good acidity and structure. This is a complex red, with a smooth and very pleasant finish.
